Educational Qualifications

OPSC OCS Recruitment 2025 Selection Process
Preliminary Exam
- This is the first step of the selection process. It consists of two papers namely, Paper I- General Studies 1 and paper II-General Studies II and it is a screening test. It is not like the marks are added to the merit list but yes it has passing criteria to come for the Mains exam.
Mains Exam
- Those who clear the Prelims will be allowed to sit for the Mains exam that involves several papers on compensatory and optional subjects. This phase has to be cleared in order to proceed to the Interview.
Interview
- The last of these is the Interview in which candidates are tested for Character, Academic prowess and Clerking skills. Then Interview marks are added with the Mains exam marks for the preparation of final merit list.
