Educational Qualifications

  • Category A: Graduate in any one of the three languages (Hindi, Bengali, or English) from a recognized university with fluency in the other two languages.
  • Category B: Graduate in Hindi from a recognized university with adequate knowledge of Urdu and English.
  • Category C: Graduate in Nepalese from a recognized university with fluency in Bengali and English.
  • Category D: Graduate in Olchiki or Santhali from a recognized university with fluency in Bengali and English.

Age Limit

  • Minimum Age: 18 years
  • Maximum Age: 40 years as of January 1, 2025

Selection Process for Calcutta High Court Recruitment 2024

Selection will be made on a competitive examination for which sample translation passages in various languages are provided. The exam will check the skills in the translation from the language mentioned above to English and vice versa. The total marks for the exam will be 100. Candidates will be selected in a 1:3: 1 ratio; provided that the number of vacancies within each category will be considered. Only those candidates who obtain at least 20% marks in the test, they will become eligible to get selected.
