TNJFU Recruitment 2025 Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification:
Project Title: “Sustaining Fisheries Ecosystem in the Palk Bay Region: Assessing Management Options, Livelihoods and Fishers’ Perspectives” funded under the BIMReN Twinning Research Grant by BOBP- IGO to be operated at TNJFU-Dr. M.G.R FC&RI, Ponneri.
Project Associate:
- Master of Fisheries Science (M.F.Sc) in Fisheries Extension / Fisheries Economics / Fisheries Resource Management
- Preferable Experience: Experience in conducting socio-economic surveys, and fisheries ecosystem health evaluations. Proficiency in data handling and carrying out robust statistical analysis using Excel/ SPSS/R Studio, and basic knowledge of open GIS for mapping and spatial analysis.
- Ability/experience in carrying out desktop reviews/textual analysis and preparing analytical reports. Effective English language/communication skills and ability to work as a team.
Duration: One year
Age Limit: 21 – 35 years (Relaxation as per rules)
Salary: Rs. 35,000 (Consolidated) per month
