ISRO SDSC SHAR Recruitment 2025 Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification:
Research Associate-I:
Essential:
- PhD in Meteorology/Atmospheric Sciences/Oceanography/Physics/Applied Physics With Meteorology or equivalent subjects as the main subject OR
- M.E/M.Tech in Atmospheric Science/Ocean sciences with at least 3 years of research experience with at least one research paper in a Science Citation Index (SCI) journal related to Atmospheric/Oceanic/Climate Sciences
Desirable:
- Well acquainted in computer programming, Linux etc and publications in peer-reviewed journals related to atmospheric/oceanic/climate sciences.
- Demonstrated skill in weather and climate modelling/observational techniques and data analysis etc supported by peer-reviewed publications
- Duration: The position of Temporary Research Associate is purely temporary, and selected candidates shall be engaged initially for three years, extendable up to the project’s validity.
Age Limit (As on 02 January 2025): 18 to 35 years
Age Relaxation:
- Upper age relaxable by 5 years in case of SC/ST and 3 years in case of OBC(non-creamy layer) candidates.
- Age relaxation as per Government of India orders are applicable for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PWBD) and Ex-Servicemen
Salary: Rs. 58,000/- per month

- Selection will be made based on performance in the interview.
- An initial screening will be based on academic performance and other parameters given in the online application, and only those who are screened in will be called for an interview.
