IBPS PO Prelims Exam Pattern
The IBPS PO Prelims exam consists of three components: Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning Ability, and English Language. There is a time limit of 20 minutes for each component, making the total time taken by the exam to complete 1 hour. In the exam, there is a provision for negative marking, where 0.25 marks is deducted for every wrong answer. The exam is designed to check the candidate’s aptness in the three areas. Moreover, this being a timed examination, the candidates must be efficient with time management. This way, all three aspects-the speed and accuracy-can be tested while answering the questions.

The IBPS PO Mains is a test to be held in two sections: objective and descriptive. The objective section will carry questions from the sections of Reasoning & Computer Aptitude, General/Economy/Banking Awareness, and Data Analysis & Interpretation.
