Delhi University has just released the DU UG simulated rank list for 2024. The rank list has been made available for all the candidates applying for undergraduate admission with the university online. Candidates will be able to access their simulated rank after logging on to the official portal through his/her application number.
It’s a simulated preference rank list, meant for students to self-assess their potential chances of being admitted to their preferred course and college by using information that has been submitted as current preferences.
The simulated rank should be followed very well by the candidates. If they have to correct any information regarding the preferred course or preferred college, they should do it by visiting the admission portal from August 12, 2024. The step is very crucial as it will allow the candidate to update the preferences before the final allocation process is completed.
Official details of the first list of allocations, which shall show the exact allocation for colleges and courses, will be published by August 16, 2024. Candidates are advised to make all changes that would result in a favorable allotment since after the above-mentioned date, no changes would be incorporated for further allotment.

- View and Save the Rank List: Carefully review your simulated rank list. Save or download it for future reference and review.
Apart from this, there is a provision to change preferences. In the preference-changing window, users can add, delete or reorder their selections. This modification link will close at 11:59 PM today. The rearranged preferences are going to affect the upcoming DU CSAS first-round allocation list, which will be released soon.
Students whose seats have been allotted based on revised choices shall report to the respective colleges for admission. Ensure that you carry all required documents and their photocopies for the admission process.

For instance; back then when I chose my top choice as College A with Course X though today it appears that I stand a much better chance of entering now College B with any course like Y, which used to be ranked several positions below that
