Applicants applying for this exam must meet the following educational requirements:
- A Master’s degree in the relevant subject with at least 55% marks (or 50% marks for reserved categories).
- Candidates with a BSc (Hons) degree and a minimum of 55% marks are also eligible.
- Students currently enrolled in MSc, BE, B.Tech, BPharma, or MBBS programs can apply as well.
- Candidates with only a Bachelor’s degree are eligible to apply for the Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) but not for Lectureship (LS)/Assistant Professor.
