- Senior Sector Expert: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Technology. Postgraduate qualifications are preferred.

- Preference will be given to candidates holding BEE Energy Auditor/Manager Certification.
Experience
- Senior Sector Expert: Minimum 8 years of relevant post-qualification experience.
- Sector Expert: Minimum 5 years of relevant post-qualification experience.

- Senior Sector Expert: Maximum 45 years.
- Sector Expert: Maximum 40 years.
