Eligibility Criteria
- Eligibility Criteria for PGT (Post-Graduate Teachers):They must have a postgraduate degree or Master’s in an affiliated field with at least 50% marks and a bachelor’s degree from a recognized university, or they must have a 2-year integrated degree.
- Eligibility Conditions for TGT (Trained Graduate Teachers):Candidates should be eligible with a Bachelor’s degree in their respective subjects and B.Ed from a recognized university, or 4-year integrated degree with 50% marks. Moreover, the candidate should pass CTET by CBSE.
- Eligibility Criteria for PRT (Primary Teachers):The candidates must have Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks and a B.El.Ed, or the candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in the relevant field with 50% marks. Candidates must clear the CTET by CBSE.
Age Limit
- For PGT (Post-Graduate Teachers): Candidates should not be above 40 years of age. Government of India rules will be followed for age relaxations. The previous employees of AMU are not being put any limit on age.
- For TGT (Trained Graduate Teachers): Candidates should be below 35 years of age. The upper age limit would be relaxed based on Government of India norms. The former AMU employees are exempted from the age bar.
- For PRT (Primary Teachers): Maximum age limit shall be 30 years. Age relaxations for the upper age limit for unreserved categories only as specified by the Government of India norms. This upper age limit shall not apply to the former AMU employees.
