The Joint Entrance Examination Advanced, or JEE Advanced 2025, is one of the most important exams for students who wish to enroll in the Indian Institutes of Technology. It has been administered this year by IIT Kanpur. JEE Advanced Examination comprises two papers: Paper 1 and Paper 2 of 3-hour duration each. Both papers basically test the knowledge in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as it is compulsory to evaluate understanding, reasoning, and analytical aptitude. It is a Computer-Based Test (CBT) offered in two languages—English and Hindi—although one has an option to switch to any of these languages at any point in time during the test.

In order to qualify for JEE Advanced 2025, applicants need to fulfill the following requirements:

Admission Process
Candidates must first rank in the top 2,50,000 in JEE Main in order to be admitted through JEE Advanced. They can register online for JEE Advanced after fulfilling this prerequisite by completing the application, attaching the required files, and paying the registration cost.
Candidates can view their rank and results on the official website following the JEE Advanced exam. In order to select their desired IITs and courses, those who meet the requirements must next take part in the JoSAA counseling procedure. Candidates are assigned seats according to their category, rank, and preferences.
