In 2015, the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship in India launched a skill-leveraging scheme called Skill India where free courses are provided to the youth of India who can be any students who have recently passed 10th standard or 12th with no prospect of continuing to further their education due to many shortcomings.
